Dr. Lim’s passion for dentistry drives her to provide befitting dental care for her patients in a meticulous and gentle manner. She has special interest in Orthodontics and minor oral surgeries, and often takes up courses to keep her updated with the latest technologies and techniques. She is also known for her attentiveness as she believes that there is no “one-plan-fits-all” solution. She values getting to know and understanding her patients’ personal dental goals, creating a collaborative and individualised plan for their oral health.

FAQ

Which teeth aligning treatment should I go for?

From dental issues to cost and appearance, each factor plays a role in deciding which treatment best fit you. It will be best to undergo dental examinations and consult your dentist for the best treatment solution.

Will the treatment hurt?

The treatment will cause mild discomfort as it shifts your teeth into place, especially in the first few days after they are applied or adjusted. The discomfort will not be crucial and can be managed with over-the-counter pain medications.

Can I eat normally with braces or aligners?

Food restriction is advice to maintain oral hygiene throughout the treatment process. Foods that may damage or get stuck in the braces should be avoided. There are no food restrictions for aligners as it can be easily removed and cleaned.

How long will the treatments take?

Generally, the treatments will last from 6 months to 2 years. However, some crucial cases can take up to 3 years and above. Your dentist in Millennium Dental will advice after your personalized examination session.
